Walt Disney World Resort Icons Mickey Mouse Snow Globe

A Walt Disney World Resort snow globe featuring the icons and characters of Disney.

Disney World is the largest and most often visited resort anywhere in the world. It attracts over 14 million guests a year to its four theme parks, two water parks, 23 resort hotels, a campground, two health spas and various other recreational centers. If you are one of those who have enjoyed a vacation in Disney World, you might want to keep a little memento, apart from your photos and videos, of your visit. If you haven't been there, you might also want a little something to remind you that you ought to go there on your next vacation. That little memento, that little reminder can be a Walt Disney World Resort Icons Mickey Mouse Snow Globe.

The Walt Disney snow globe is truly little, quite literally, as it stands only 6½ inches with a diameter of 5½. The globe is made of clear glass, with Mickey Mouse standing in the middle with his gloved hands outstretched as if to show how glad he is to see you. That, of course, is matched with a wide grin and a happy pair of eyes. He is dressed in a fine tuxedo with a red tie that matches his red trousers. Shake the globe and a hundred magic sparkles float all around Mickey.

The globe is set on a base made of sculpted resin. Surrounding the globe are relief sculptures of the icons of Disney World. These are all hand-painted in the same colors as their real life counterparts. The Cinderella Castle, the icon of the Magic Kingdom, is perched below Mickey's globe. Right beside the castle is Spaceship Earth of Epcot, and further away is the Tree of Life, the main attraction of the Animal Kingdom theme park. The Sorcerer's Hat, of course, is not left out. It is the icon of Hollywood Studios.

This visual delight is complemented with the tune It's A Small World. You only need to wind a music key to hear it.
